JMDRAD
I recently downloaded MM2A:party: and I need to get it printed out for use. Do I really need to do it in color? Has anybody had it done in black and white?
kidsnbooks8
We do it in balck and white. I just print out a week at a time.
Debbie in London
We do it in black and white, also. I can see where having it in color would be nice but DS9 doesn't mind b&w. Debbie
TracyP
I tried some in b & w but went back to printing in color. It is not a huge amount of color but it seems to add some visual appeal and it does help in some of the illustrations. Having said that, I would say you don't NEED TO print in color by any means. It is just my personal preference.
DarlaS
I would look at each lesson and decide. I don't recall seeing anything that would need t be in color, but that doesn't mean it's not in there. I haven't looked at every page. Do most people print it all at once?
Holly
I printed it in B&W. We have a laser and I'm too cheap to use our inkjet. I just printed the first 2 chapters (and test and review).
Corraleno
I print in color, because it helps my dyslexic/VSL son separate the components of the lesson; he gets "lost" with a busy page that's all B&W, and when he was younger he felt overwhelmed by it. Has your child used B&W math books before, or do they prefer color? I'd try printing out a few lessons in B&W and a few in color and see if it makes any difference to your child. It's worth the extra expense to me for my dc to enjoy math instead of thinking it's dull or overwhelming, but for other kids I'm sure the lack of color wouldn't make any difference (and for some it might even be preferable). JMDRAD
Thanks to each of you for the replies. I'll probably go with B&W since it's more cost effective. My dd has been using MUS for the past two years so I doubt the lack of color will be a problem for her. Thanks again!:001_smile:

Tam101
I print in B&W. The few times (very few, one or two assignments a year) color was needed I get out my color highlighters.
cajunkaren
I just printed out the fractions 1 and 2 and decimals in color. It wasn't that much color though. Karen

sleepymommy
So far, I've printed in b/w but may print out the next set of lessons in color. Ds1 would definitely prefer it to be in color. I don't think it makes any difference if the visual factor is not important to your child.
