Help me with a name for our homeschool

I'm tired of "Drumm Homeschool". Any good Latin phrases?

Try this site. It has some good stuff. You can also use a translator (just google for one - but google translate doesn't do latin) and put in the phrase or words you want until you find something you like.

I'm no help. Since we're not mandated by the state to submit a name for our homeschool, I can get away with "McLernins Academy of Advanced Lernins." ;)

When the kids outgrow Couchtop College, I'm thinking "Carpe Praedum" College. "Carpe Praedum" (that could be misspelled because I don't know Latin yet) is our SCA baron's war cry :D He's a pirate, but I think "seize the treasure" is a good way to think about the wonders of education.

We also liked St. Bernard's Brainery.

 

Some days we think of changing it to St. Augustine's Academy of Academic Angst.

 

Not latin but my daughter likes putting it in the Name of School blank on the various forms life throws our way.
