My oldest will start 7th grade this summer (how is it possible? didn't we finish Phonics Pathways just last week? :))

Here's what I have planned...

Omnibus I (history, literature, theology)

NEM 1 (finish), Keys to Algebra (4-?), start Gelfand's Algebra for fun?

Rainbow Science, year 2

Wheelock's Latin (ch 21-40)

Traditional Logic I

Vocabulary from Classical Roots A

Elements of Style (read, outline, etc.) followed by The Roar on the Other Side (poetry)

God and the History of Art (1X per week)

Anything missing or just plain dumb?

He also studies 2 instruments and participates in scouts and Tai Kwon Do.

I have a similar plan for my 7th grader next August:

7th grader:

Omnibus I (covers history, literature, & Bible)

R&S Math 8

Wheelock's IA (Ch1-10)vw/ Lingua Latina

New Testament Greek for Beginners

CW Homer B & Beg Poetry B

R&S Grammar 7

R&S Spelling 7

R&S Artpac 7

We do PE as a family 3 times a week and participate in choir and Awana at church. I've purposely not planned science and logic in junior high. My son will read science books, but we won't take a formal approach to both subjects until 9th grade.
