SeekingSimplicity
on Valentines? One place I feel like they miss out is getting to exchange cards and having a party. This year I want to try to plan a little something for htem
Mrs Mungo
Our homeschool group actually has a Valentine's party where they exchange valentines and everything. We're not participating this year because we have something else going on. I do have a little something for my kids. :)
dhudson
I plan a big home school party for our fellow hs'ers. We'll have it on Thursday. We'll make a craft to give to someone else ( to show love to others) and make cookies as well as have lunch together. I've done this for 6 or 7 years now and we love it. ChristusG
Our homeschool group is exchanging valentines tomorrow when we meet. But I do buy a little something for my kids to give them them on V-Day. Usually a small thing of candy and a small toy.
Stacia
When they were a bit younger, a few moms & I would get together & do a Valentine party for the kids. These days, we meet some friends for lunch (either at a fast food place or at a park, weather permitting) & the kids exchange Valentines there. One of the moms will bring a Valentine dessert (cupcakes or cookies).
TravelingChris
We usually do something like special treats or for the girls, a low value jewelry. Often the groups we are associated with at the time do something. LIke we were going to have a dessert sharing after co-op but it is postponed because of the snow.
