amy g.
My dad was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer 18 months ago. He has been on Chemo, and doing really well. I've noticed a change in him since Christmas. He has been more tired, and less outgoing. Yesterday, he told me that his CT scan showed tumor progression. He is out of options for conventional treatments, and the study he was going to start yesterday rejected him because he has already had more Chemo than they allow. Next week, he will find out if he is accepted into a different trial. If he is, they will want him to have 28 days without Chemo before starting. Please pray that God's perfect will is done in Dad's treatment and in my own care giving, and that In can recognize his needs and how best to meet them. It is difficult for me to not have more information, and to not know what to expect, and what to plan for.
