Cynful
We are into the Revolution right now and my son is wanting to learn more about the British side of the Revolution. Any good book recommendations? Thanks,

King Alfred Academy
George vs. George seems to be laid out this way, but I have not read it yet. I *think* the Liberty Kids DVD's show the British side, but, I have not seen them yet. I am in the midst of planning our Rev. War study right now. I could tell you more in a few weeks! :001_huh:
jlovebaker
My Brother Sam is Dead - not sure it's really from the Brit side but it showed how the lines b/t the two sides were more muddled than you would think - even within families. Great story!
agw
A short, easy to read book is "George the Drummer Boy" by Nathaniel Benchly. I also have read "The Reb and the Redcoats" by Constance Savery which is set in England and involves a family 'keeping' a rebel soldier. Chris in VA
We liked The Real Revolution. One point it made that stuck with me was that not all British people had taxation with representation--so gov't wasn't doing anything new when the colonists didn't, either. MaryCatherine
GA Henty's book about the American Revolution is written from a Brit's point of view. Very interesting read. True To The Old Flag

Cynful
How wonderful :) I went to park day today with our group and came back to so many great suggestions. I'm off to look them up now. Thank you so much.
