Stacy in NJ
It's a re-run. I know. It's hot, it's cold, it's hot again. Seems like a pattern. Could they just pick a scare tactic and stick with it?????

Jumping In Puddles
I always get Daily Mail and The Onion confused. How can you confuse them, the Daily Mail is a trashy tabloid and The Onion is brilliant satire! ;) Because there is very little we can do about climate change (man made or natural and cyclical), we will soon see if this cooling trend can actually halt and reverse the melting of the polar ice and the retreating of glaciers. These are being closely measured and since the article mentions that this wall all happen in the next 20 years, we should start to see some dramatic reversals in the very near future. Parrothead
I've said global warming was a scam from the beginning. Since the Earth has been cooling for the past couple of years it isn't even called global warming anymore. It is now climate change. And just as with anything else, follow the money. Could they just pick a scare tactic and stick with it????? I remember this from when I was young -- we were entering an ice age and they wondered how long it would be before it effected humans significantly. There was even a plan to take soot to spread over the ice caps and glaciers to keep them melting at a regular rate. Guess we have to face facts -- we humans aren't quite as powerful as we thought we were, either for good or evil! :001_huh:
