Chris in VA
bring examples of our curricula? There are things I'd like to preview before considering for next year, and I won't be able to go to conventions--anyone want to meet in Lorton and just have coffee and peruse each other's curricula choices? I could bring: Singapore 1A,1B MEP part of yr1 Miqoun Orange CTC-Math Reasoning, Thinker doodles, Can you find me? Right Brain Phonics Explode the Code BFSU Singapore Science Kingfisher and Usborne History Charlies Playhouse timeline

Chris in VA
Ok, things got kinda busy round here! I'm thinking maybe in the spring is good--but when do you all buy curriculum? Do you think sooner is better than later? I can host something at my house, if y'all don't mind a bit of the "lived in look." I can also get a room at our church--it's comfy and there's the playground for the kids. Rooms are bigger, too! lol What do you think? MariannNOVA
Ok, things got kinda busy round here! I'm thinking maybe in the spring is good--but when do you all buy curriculum?:lol: Twenty four hours a day, seven days a week, unfortunately. Do you think sooner is better than later? Yes -- collectively, we probably have great things for each other to see and I think that would be helpful if it happens sooner rather than later. I can host something at my house, if y'all don't mind a bit of the "lived in look." Chris......you do 'live' there, right? So 'lived in' is fine! :) I can also get a room at our church -- well, you could, but the rest of us would feel, uh, 'funny' being at your house if you were at a room at your church.:lol: it's comfy and there's the playground for the kids. Rooms are bigger, too! lol -- Well, if you want to be at the church, but like I said, it will be weird if you are at church and we are at your house. What do you think? I think whatever is easiest for you -- if you are going to host, then let's have someone assist with or handle by themselves the other aspects -- you know, who is coming, what they are bringing, what will we eat, who will take photos?:lol: Truthfully, though, what works for you........?
