Recommended Posts

What a great idea! I would love to participate:

I have the following:

MCT Grammar Island (ALL the books in that level)

MCT Voyage Level (ALL the books in that level)

History Odyssey - Middle Ages, Level Two

Tons of Memoria Press Stuff: Famous Men of the Middle Ages, Famous Men of Greece, Christian Studies II

Saxon Math 7/6, 6/5

Life of Fred - Pre-Algebra with Biology and I have another Life of Fred (I'll have to look and see which one it is)

RS4K - Physics (I think) and Chemistry

I have alot of Latin stuff - Prima Latina, Latina Christiana, Ecce Romani

And, I have 'supporting' materials for HO - Kingfisher Illus history of the World, and lots of other stuff -- if there is something particular you want to see, and I haven't listed it, just ask, I'll check and see if I have it.

Chris: Great idea! Let me know what I can do to help! PM me!:)

I'm not in NoVa but visit often since my in-laws live there. If this occurs on a weekend that I'm in town I'd love to join. We're in the middle of a move so it would also have to be after I get some of this stuff unpacked. My boy is young though so all my curricula is for the younger set.

I could bring:

Singapore 1A,1B

MEP part of yr1

Miqoun Orange

CTC-Math Reasoning, Thinker doodles, Can you find me?

Right Brain Phonics

Explode the Code

BFSU

Singapore Science

Kingfisher and Usborne History

Charlies Playhouse timeline

Ok, things got kinda busy round here!

I'm thinking maybe in the spring is good--but when do you all buy curriculum?

Do you think sooner is better than later?

I can host something at my house, if y'all don't mind a bit of the "lived in look." I can also get a room at our church--it's comfy and there's the playground for the kids. Rooms are bigger, too! lol

What do you think?

:lol: Twenty four hours a day, seven days a week, unfortunately.

Do you think sooner is better than later? Yes -- collectively, we probably have great things for each other to see and I think that would be helpful if it happens sooner rather than later.

I can host something at my house, if y'all don't mind a bit of the "lived in look." Chris......you do 'live' there, right? So 'lived in' is fine! :)

I can also get a room at our church -- well, you could, but the rest of us would feel, uh, 'funny' being at your house if you were at a room at your church.:lol:

it's comfy and there's the playground for the kids. Rooms are bigger, too! lol -- Well, if you want to be at the church, but like I said, it will be weird if you are at church and we are at your house.

What do you think?

I think whatever is easiest for you -- if you are going to host, then let's have someone assist with or handle by themselves the other aspects -- you know, who is coming, what they are bringing, what will we eat, who will take photos?:lol: Truthfully, though, what works for you........?
