BikeBookBread
Thinking of stocking up and putting in Christmas stockings...are Smencils worth it?
lmrich
My kids love them. They use them only on the weekends to finish up work - a little something to make it sweeter! They do keep thier smell for a long time - if you keep them in the container when not in use.
plain jane
They are nice and the kids think it's a treat to use them. They do keep their smell and overall, I'm happy to have a few around the house. That said, in my opinion, they're not great for schoolwork because the lead is so dark and it is very hard to erase. I let the kids use them for things that I know won't involve a ton of erasing or I'll quickly have a mess of the page and a disappointed child. That's been our experience, YMMV. :) I do think they're worth the purchase and I know my kids would like to see a few more in their stockings this year. *********
I just googled them; how cute! Can you only buy them on-line?
HomeschoolingWithLove
My kids love them too. I have purchased them online through Rainbow Resource Center and Amazon.:)
fivetails
I just googled them; how cute! Can you only buy them on-line? We actually snagged a handful of them at a kids clothing store called "Please Mum" - they had a dish of them for sale on the counter. :)
Maria from IN
I've also seen them on the perpetualkid website, but I don't know if they're more expensive.:001_smile:
Laurie4b
The peppermint ones should be good for kids who have some trouble concentrating. Cinnamon would be too, but they don't seem to sell those separately. I'm glad you shared this.
Mabeline
The pepermint ones are sold seperately on the Smencil website. They have them listed as "Smart Pencils" or something like that.
