Desert Rat
Coors and Billy Beer, if you serve alcohol. Swanson's chicken pot pies and anything RadarRange-able.
OH_Homeschooler
Did anyone else have those "salads" that consisted of a canned pear, sliced in half, placed on a piece of lettuce and then topped with mayo and grated cheese? Ha! This came up on my e-mealz menu recently. It was my first week on e-mealz so I didn't deviate at all. This wasn't bad, but it definitely reminded me of the Weight Watchers cards I posted above (from the 70's).
Denise in Florida
Presto burgers. I didn't read all the replies so I don't if it has already been listed. :001_smile: I used to love burgers made in those little hinged burger makers (like a waffle iron for meat). Storm Bay
I remember during the meat boycotts (because of the high price of gas) eating grape jelly omlets.....BLEECHHHHHH! I don't remember the meat boycotts at all, although I remember the gas crisis, the energy crunch, etc. I have never heard of eating grape jelly omelets. Do you remember the year(s)? Tressa
Anyone mention stuffed peppers? My mom seemed to make them often, and we would groan and whine when she did. I still can't eat a cooked pepper. Crock pot meals in the 70's were kind of icky too. Most of them involving stewed tomatoes. Ewww. Crockpot cooking sure has come a long way.
