Shawna in Texas
We're covering genetics in a couple of weeks and I'm wondering if anyone has used any kits. I've seen a few, but I don't know which one to get. Any favorites?
dangermom
I don't know about kits, but here's how to extract DNA at home!
stripe
What happens if you have a SURPRISE RESULT when you run the tests? (Sorry, there are so many "controversial" threads on here, I just had to ask.) I'll be interested to hear how the DNA testing goes! ;)

Paula in PA
This is the one we plan to use: Thames & Kosmos Genetics & DNA. It's completely secular, and we've used several other T&K kits and enjoyed them. We'll be using a Usborne book on genetics along with it. Sasharowan
I don't know about the kits but there is a cool show on National Geographic about mapping the human genome. I think there is some info on their site about it.
Joy at Home
Don't know about kits. But this was a cute site when we studied DNA. http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/sheppard/analyze.html Blessings, lisa
