Blueridge
We just started reading aloud King Arthur and His Knights of the Round Table. I do not know the proper pronunciation of Arthur's father *Utherpendragon*. Is the 'Uther' part pronounced: Yoo ther... Ooo ther... (short vowel) Uh ther... Err ther...

Nicole M
As a side note, when my boys were younger, they loved Merlin and the Dragons, read by Kevin Kline. (This book is how I knew how to pronounce the name.) I'd forgotten about that until you asked this question. http://www.amazon.com/Merlin-Dragons-Jane-Yolen/dp/1568960352/ref=ed_oe_a Our library has it.
