vettechmomof2
I got my first period on my 10th birthday. I was 5', 75 lbs, very, very muscular and active. I did not eat much meat, ate lots of veggies but did eat cheese and milk. P.s. My blood sugar levels were always low. Range of 45-75 mg/dl. Now I am overweight and my blood sugar levels are still in range of 50-75 mg/dl. My daughter likes to check me frequently so we do know this as a fact. My mother got hers when she was 15 years old, my aunt(her sister) got hers when she was 12. I had my period very regularly my whole life, very heavy bleeding and the docs recommended bc pills to help aid in bleeding so when i was 15 I started those and it did help lesson length of my cycles. My daughter is almost 10 and is physically shaped very different than myself but has started getting breast buds a few months after her 8th birthday. Strikes me that’s long enough for new babies to have been conceived, born and grown up enough to start their periods since this thread was started 😂
