Chris in VA
Just wanted to give you an update-- Ds17 has been in rehab since Dec. Today, he ran his second 10K, and improved his time by nearly 8 minutes! He beat everyone else from the treatment center, including his counselor! Not that that matters--but it was kinda fun. He has gained weight (all muscle), changed his attitude, made a commitment to stay clean, been sober for 7 months now, and is working on Step 4 (for those of you who know AA). I am so proud of him. Thanks for all the positive thoughts and prayers, and for those who gave running advice the other day.:D
Jennifer in MI
Congratulations to him!! What a great accomplishment. He must feel wonderful! He's on dh and my prayer lists. Dh is in AA and knows the steps. We'll keep praying.
