  1. I would allow it after I clarified and she agreed that paying for it on her own does not excuse her from following the family's rules of usage and etiquette.
  2. Andie. Buy the tickets. This sort of opportunity does not present itself on a regular basis, and you certainly deserve it. Not to mention that you have an AWESOME head coach now. Your whole front office is buzzing over his awesomeness, and they are all excited about the upcoming season. I spent some time with him and his family over the past two weeks, and I can't wait for the season to start. But is sure is weird to see him in burgundy and gold instead of blue and green.
  3. This one only started out digital. It turned into a 3 dimensional piece, so I'll have Corky take a picture of it when he is home tomorrow.
  4. *clink* Congratulations, Jill! It's not so hard, is it? LOL @ listening to what you want. I'm usually pretty happy with my results, but there have been a couple of times that I went far too short for my chubby face, and I stayed home a lot until it grew. ;)
  5. I was doing a little bit of catch-up last night and I saw your spice cabinet. Oh, my goodness, Mindy! Can I put you up for a month and beg for organizational lessons? That pantry was a thing of beauty!
  6. We will be going to the August 2nd production of Romeo and Juliet. It's just down the hill from our house, and in the open space behind our favorite library. I think I'll go a bit early to set up our blankets and send the boys to the library for a while so I can read alone, in the sun, as we wait for showtime. As for the clothesline, my husband has to adjust the dang thing every day. Don't they make lines that don't stretch so much?!
  7. Happy birthdays to your family! The weather is fabulous, and expected to last a while. I've experienced your humidity, and I wonder how you all do it. Ick. I wish you cooler days ahead.
  8. Awww. I'm sorry, Michelle. Would it help to know that I had to wear bifocals for three years when I was in jr. high school? It was part of the treatment for my rapidly deteriorating eyesight. So, there you go. Bifocals don't mean you are old.
  9. LOL! If I had to *share* a brain with anyone, Amy would definitely be on my short list. ;)
  10. Wow! Congratulations on the cute light-green one, anj! It's purdy.
  11. I am the third of four. I am the middle child if you count only the girls. I've been told I am the typical middle child, whatever that means. I married the oldest of six boys. Boy, oh boy! Do we ever have different personalities!
  12. Hi Julie! Mom's doing okay these days. She seems to be having a string of pretty good days (as good as they ever get now). I just talked to her on the phone and we laughed a good amount of the time. Days like these are answers to my prayers. How are you?! And your dad?
  13. I like to give positive rep for helpful advice, thoughtful posts, and to those who replied to a particular post in the same way I would, but who have been more articulate than I ever could. I'd rather not give negative rep. I like to focus on the positive aspect of the little green gifts.
  14. I printed a large portrait order for a family who is moving to the other Washington next week. I completed another piece of art that I've been imagining for many months. And I've washed and line dried all the sheets and blankets (I usually only do one bed at a time). The beds are all made and smelling fabulous.
  15. Thank you! My world has been lovely. Hunter spent last week at a baseball camp and had a wonderful time. Jeffrey is going fishing in the morning with one of our neighbors. I love this weather and I especially love seeing my boys blossom with their outside activities and friendships.
  16. I've been plenty productive, and I'd like to sit, alone, with my glass of wine and my WTM friends. How y'all doin'? :)

  18. I'm staying home, but I have several projects that I need to work on away from the computer. I thought this would be a good time to take something of break from the boards and other internet stops where I spend too much time. I will see you all around the first of September. And, if you wouldn't mind, please act like you remember me when I return. :D
  19. What a sweet post, Brigitte. I think Pam is one of those people we all wish we knew personally.
  20. I was hoping you held the great secret for losing weight without having to eat healthy. ;)
