  1. :grouphug: Praying that it all turns around for ya.
  2. I am so very sorry for your sister's & her children's loss. The grief! Praying for everyone involved. What a sweet sister to volunteer to take on the teaching aspect. Praying that your family knows when and how to support them. Hard.
  3. Yes. I have to give up my expectations (kicking and screaming with claw marks) of them and just accept them. This occurred to me one day as I was praying, being so thankful that I don't have to be a certain stature or be educated to a certain level before God loves and accepts me. He meets me where I am and I will be eternally grateful. As I was praising Him for this, it occurs to me that I need to be this way with others. ALL others. MY CHILDREN especially. This thought has helped me more in my parenting than anything else.
  4. Breakfast - break egg in ziplock. Close ziplock. Squish the egg in closed ziplock. Place ziplock with egg inside into boiling water. Soon enough, you will have a scrambled egg. You can also add veggies to make an "omelet" of sorts. Foil packs. http://artofmanliness.com/2010/07/20/cooking-around-the-campfire-9-easy-and-delicious-foil-packet-recipes/ After you make a few, you get the hang of it and start making your own recipes. My husband loves ground beef with chopped onions, LOTS of sweet peppers and potatoes. He switches between Worchestershire and soy sauces.
  5. Praying for a quick recovery. :grouphug:
  6. Ours is 3 yrs old but tempermental. Ever so often, it will not drip at all. It warms the water but then the water will not go through the system. If you try it the next day, it works like a charm.
  7. Start now but start with just one or two subjects. Just ease your way back into it and maybe it will not be a point of stress. In your head it might be "Well, we only have x and y to do. Let's get it knocked out and then go play for the rest of the day!"
