  1. What about someone doing Latina Christiana and loving it?:001_smile: I liked that it looked more along that line and not just a bunch of fluff, but I'm not sure, especially since not all the levels are out. Thanks!
  2. I would be using it for my 8yog & 10yob. My husband would like to learn along with them. I had 3 years of Spanish in High School, but that's it for my experience. We would probably not start until later this year or next year, not sure yet. Thanks! I'm going to be checking out that thread!
  3. This looks good, but I'm just wondering what others thoughts are. Also, is this just the beginning? Will there be more curriculum coming out? Thanks!
  4. Please give me any insight on a Spanish Curriculum you use and love. We are considering doing this together as a family, but mostly geared towards our oldest two who are in 3rd&4th grade. TIA!
  5. Am I the only one who can't get into the general boards and my personal notifications? I have a message there and it's killing me to not be able to read it!!!!:D
  6. I found out that I just had a deep fissure!!! PTL!!! The doctor said it is healing already and that I must just keep my BMs soft and all should be fine! I just could not stop smiling after my appt! I feared the worst that my muscle and everything was tearing again. But God saw fit to keep me well this time.
  7. I had a sphincteroplasty 4 years ago(they reattached my sphincter muscle and rebuilt my perineum) and I found out on Friday that tissue is tearing. So today I'm going back to Indy to my orignal surgeon to see what's going on. Please keep me in your prayers. Obviously the best would be if it can heal naturally and nothing needs to be done, but if that's not the case please pray that I can face it without fear. Thank you for your prayers in advance.
  8. Have you tried Lexapro? My doc put me on that because of the few side effects. It really works well for me and I know several others on it.

  10. I love the info on Ripley's Aquarium. How do you prove you homeschool, just take some school books?
  11. Give me some great, cheap things to do. Are there any historic things that would be cool? Any other ideas? TIA!
  12. Although, I have to admit there are things I used that she doesn't reccomend because they fit our family better, however, SWB tells you to use what works. I love that the framework is there and I can plug into the framework what works for our family. It's not like curriculum in a box, where if you don't do it this way you don't know if you're covering all your bases. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE WTM and I'm so grateful to my friend Jean for hooking me up!
  13. This is a great thread! I love all the ideas! I've done really well with working out and watching what I eat until the last two nights I really splurged and needed this kick in the pants :tongue_smilie:to get back on the healthy wagon so to speak!
  14. When my youngest was in K we started with B. It went really well, until there is a point where it all of a sudden gets much harder. We hit a wall and went back and did A after all. I didn't want to make up stuff for the whole rest of the year, I preferred just going back through A, which is definitely very gentle, but they learn a lot. B is review of A so if you want to you may do B and if it gets to hard stop and do games or just take B really slow. But again my personal preference is start with A.
  15. I would love to try these, if I ever get back into a routine where I can bake again!!!
  16. Here's an idea. It's books and some ideas with it. I've been using the 2yo one this year and really enjoy it. There are lots of different ideas on the website. I also got The Preschooler's Busy Book, it seems to have some fun ideas. I've just been glancing through for next year. HTH!
  17. Well now you're going to have to show me the difference between what you have and what I have. I've been drooling over the Plus, but I would like to see if Basic will do it. I've looked at it before, but kept thinking it was for older, like high school kids. But I finally decided I needed to just download the free one to see what I'm missing!
  18. Well, You know how I like things laid out, I figured I may as well TRY the Basic since it's free. I think it will work well, with a bit less work than I was doing before. I'll let you know Sat night how it's working out, or maybe bring my computer along and show you. Then you can decide whether to download or not. (That is the question!!!)
  19. Also, is there anyway to say that I'm doing my Math Lesson #1 and it will automatically fill in Lesson #2 for the next time we do math? Or is this not possible? Thanks!
  20. It is sooooo awesome! They really teach the concepts well. I do supplement a bit for review, but it's an awesome program.
