  1. I received a note that there was a question on my FS post. However, I can't see a question anywhere. Any thoughts? What am I missing?
  2. Selling some things from my homeschooling days. Thanks!
  3. Hee! Hee! I thought the same thing! No, I'm NOT waking him up to ask either!
  4. I've found a great lapbook for my son on homeschool share, but the one for little house are a bit too difficult for my daughter. More ideas of where to find another lapbook. TIA.
  5. I knew there was a reason none of the options looked right!!! I would say this too. I'm from the midwest.
  6. Thanks so much for all the replies. I have a lot to think about and will be checking this out at convention next weekend. Any more ideas, I'd love to hear them!
  7. Thank you so much for all the reviews. It's been a hectic week so this was my first chance to look at it all. I'm going to convention next weekend so I'll check all these things out! Again thanks!
  8. Stephanie, What are you loving about SYRWLS? (I think that acronym is right!) Where did you buy it? I'm trying to find something for my whole family to learn Spanish, above the level of La Clase. I will be checking this out. Thanks!
  9. Regena, Don't be sorry, I'm glad to hear from both sides. Do you have any other ideas of what to dry? I'm looking for something for our whole family. Thanks!
  10. If you have, do you enjoy it? Or if you tried it and hated it, let me know why. Thanks so much!
  11. No, it's just a cake I made in a bowl;) I've used it to make Barbie Dresses too, but I'd like to get a taller bowl because Barbie looks a little short and pudgy;) and the cave isn't nearly as tall as the angel. Thanks for the compliment on my handwriting, my kids have asked me how I have such nice handwriting. If you think mine is nice you should see my dads. It's soooooo nice. My sis and I always tried to write as nice as him, but I still can't!
  12. I think it turned out pretty well! You can check it out [/url]here!
  13. Julie, Thanks so much for the reply! I'm glad to know you loved this path!
  14. Julie, Are you thinking of sticking with Singapore or eventually going to VideoText? I'm so glad to see someone has done what I'm thinking of doing. Do you really like that approach? Would you do it again? Thanks so much!
  15. I'm really drawn to Spanish for Children, but do they have plans for more than Primer A? We are wanting to do this all together as a family, my husband really wants to learn. Do you have any other suggestions? Thanks!
  16. The main thing we changed is doing school on our main level now. I've realized I'm much more relaxed rather down here rather than in our school room. We also went from the older two doing R&S Bible to reading through R&S Bible 5 together and just doing it orally. We've really enjoyed that! I'm trying to make homeschooling a joyful journey for us all and I needed to work on how to do subjects in a better way. I feel really good about where we're going now.
  17. He will only be in 5th grade next year. I'm finishing E this year. While RS has helped him tremendously, I would say Math is not a strong subject for him. So I guess I'm saying I really don't think he'd be near ready to go into VideoText like RS recommends. I've thought a lot about going with Singapore 5 and LoF 1 day/week, but are there other recommendations? Something you've done that you just loved. TIA!
  18. Thanks LMA, I too think it's great!!! I was so psyched when they let me do this giveaway! Especially with my recent postings on working on getting out of debt!
  19. Hmmm... It goes to the link for me. This is on their website. They charge $3/month for this or he told $30/year. Have you checked out PearBudget? It's not the same old spreadsheets they used to do. https://www.pearbudget.com You only have to comment for 1 entry, the others are for additional entries.
  20. I'm doing a giveaway for a whole year at my website!!! Here's the link.
  21. In the beginning of Homeschooling my dh said it was up to me, but he'd rather put them in school. He still says he doesn't care, but thinks it'd be easier to for me if I'd just put them in school. Although he doesn't say anything, I think he's seeing some good things about how much the kids are learning and of course what they're NOT learning!
  22. You did a great job, your reasoning was great! Thanks for sharing. That was an interesting read!
