My sub fell apart. It was good, though. :) ham, turkey, bologna, salami, pepperoni, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, avocado, pickle, mild banana peppers, mayo, oregano, olive oil, black olives.

Tonight's dinner will be cold-cut subs. The dc love to watch me try to eat my sandwich because I load it up and can hardly fit it into my mouth. I like lots of toppings. Meanwhile, some of the dc think that a few slices of salami and pepperoni on a roll is a sub.

Jean, I wish I could come over and clean your house and fill your freezer with gf meals. But, I'm allergic to all of your animals. And you live 3,000 miles away. ?

I pulled up the video with Dick Van Dyke. I was trying to picture him as the old banker in Mary Poppins doing Tai Chi. That would be amusing. :)

Which form are you learning? I mostly did a Yang form -- I'm looking to see if I can find the exact sequence I learned -- and I was beginning to learn the Sun form. ETA: And swords! I almost forgot that we used swords! :)

Thanks Slache. Enbrel is out of the fridge. I'll inject it in a couple of hours. It stings if it goes in cold.

Dh is driving in this right now because ds17 just got off work. The storm is expected to stick around for a few hours, so dh wanted to leave and get home before it gets dark. #alittleworried

Thunder, lightning, and hail! Oh, my!

My dh and I each lost a grandmother (before we were born) to a cancer that can be caused by HPV, so my kids have family history on both sides of the family. We are in the process of having them vaccinated. His grandmother was only 46 when she died. Mine was only 31. Both died way too young. :(

And we have a severe thunderstorm warning. ? Dh is outside making sure the water drainage ditches are clear. Meanwhile, our neighbor is mowing our grass. :) We have a super nice neighbor who loves to do yard work. He and his wife have no children and they baby their yard. It's magazine-worthy beautiful. Anyway, we have a large, flat backyard and he has a zero-turn mower. Zip, zip. Our backyard is mowed in 5 minutes. We have tried to pay him, but he said that would insult him. Sigh.

Tonight's dinner: Steak Potatoes Green Beans Salad Fried Apples I also made hard-boiled eggs and prepped blueberries and strawberries for tomorrow's breakfast.

Science around here is rather meh. Every year. I figure I can't be good at everything.

Yes. :) (Actually, it does. One of my high school history classes is The Twentieth Century. We study one decade each month. Watching vintage tv shows/movies is part of the dc's requirement.)
