WOW! Is that because of something with the cows?

In the last hour, I learned that Jupiter is 50 million years older than earth, and I also learned that astronomers speculate there's a layer of Jupiter's atmosphere where diamonds rain down.

Obama was 8 when we brought home Inky and Aslan, and while he was grumpy, I think he would have been REALLY mad if we'd only brought home one of them, because then the kitten would have tried a lot harder to play with Obama rather than with each other. When Obama was a baby, we had an 8 year old cat and a 16 year old cat, and I think being the only kitten with only older cats in the house is the reason that Obama is a massive jerk. I think his life would have been much better and honestly that our older cats' lives would have been better if he had had a friend.

I love the name Eclipse!!! It's perfect, and he is adorable. I hate to say it though, but he needs a kitten buddy to keep him company!

This is completely believable to me since my husband was working on developing very similar non lethal weapons for the US Air Force in the early 2000s. We have deployed them against crowds, and also against foreigners we wanted to dissuade from what they were doing. More primitive versions and arguably more batshit insane ones were employed against targets in the 50s and 60s that have been declassified. So it would be shocking to me if Russia did not possess them, and if they did not sometimes either test or utilize them against our people over there. We aren't going to retaliate, because 1) proving anything is very challenging. They create symptoms that are unpleasant but not severe and not long lasting, at least to the best of our knowledge. And all they have to do is turn them off and remove them and there's no evidence, and 2) It's just not worth getting into hostile action over things both sides are totally doing to each other but that are quiet and understated and not causing major harms. We do not want to go to war. They're useful against crowds, when you need people to disperse but you don't want to actually shoot people.

I mean, it’s completely ludicrous to send a 12 year old a job ad. I would just be like, “Man that’s nuts. You have to be 21 to do that job.” And ignore. But you aren’t really upset about the job ads so much as the entire relationship.
