He has a three ring binder from when he did co-op. That would be easier than permanent binding. I just need to get back in gear.
Moving, flu, 2ds mouth trauma, enough to make me want to go crazy! Time to get back to school!!!
Do you make a seperate one for each quarter or break it up into the weeks plan and then put everything together? I would love for ds to have everything laid out like that!
Also where do you get a comb binding machine thingy?
Thanks!
But I sure do need one! It is just a matter of sitting down and doing it! We need structure but there is always something that comes up a throws everything off. My dh's work schedule is crazy. There are nights when the kiddo's don't get in bed until 10 because they want to see daddy. Life? How does one do it!?
Anyway, hope you get some suggestions!
Headsprout has covered the long vowels and sight words. She can read the Headsprout readers and the ETC words without a problem It is when she sees those words outside of 'school work'. It's getting her to apply what she has gone over and similar words in word families. I am probably not making much sense. Oh well, time for Starbucks! I will have to look at the Bob Books!
Thanks!
I think when she finishes ETC we'll start back with our copywork and spelling. I had put those off to focus more on phonics. It will come, I just have to remember that each child is different and she is not like her brother!:001_smile:
The one here is tiny and I didn't want to drive to NC. That shouldn't be too far, it only took us a little over an hour to get to the zoo. Thanks again!
My 10 ds watched this with my dad. Afterwards they made a shield, helmet, and a tunic. He also had a spears from the bamboo that grows next to the house. We love "field trips" to grandpa's house!
