  1. I would like to have one on my van someday, but for now we have just the online one. I made it free at http://www.pyzam.com/toys/view/familysticker HTH! Have fun :-)

  2. Lost 100#s :D Seriously though, changing my eating habits from mostly junk to a healthy diet is the #1 thing I did and still do or myself.
  3. I looked at the samples on the web site and I see only two critical thinking questions for that lesson. Overall do you feel there is enough in the guide for each book used? Do you feel it really makes the student think or are they going to be simply filling in the answers?
  4. Yep, we were. I think it's like an annual tradition or something :tongue_smilie:
  5. Nope, you aren't alone. We were stupid and have quite a bit of CC debt. We have chopped up the cards and hope to pay them off soon, but we are currently only paying the minimums. We will be at this for a while :glare:
  6. My Dd is almost half way through RME and I am thinking about what we will do afterwards. I am planning on SWR, but am also looking into AAS. What about ETC books? Would ETC and AAS or SWR be overkill?
  7. I have had a kid throw up 3 nights in a row. :glare: Wanna take a bet who will be sick Christmas Day? :banghead: DH has been out of town for 3 evenings so I told him he can clean it up tonight :D
  8. Yep! Tell him he is IN preschool then have a celebration that now he in K. Make it fun fun fun.
  9. I am going to give her a fine art credit for the theater group & voice/piano lessons. She is in the Civil Air Patrol and they do drill each week so I think I could give a her credit for that too.
  10. Because I live in Arkansas I get asked this constantly too. Amazingly there are large families in other states. Who knew? :glare:
  11. Well if he asked for a bottle of coke and bag of chips for breakfast would you give it to him? Of course not (welll maybe, but probably not :D). Kids don't always know whats good for them and we adults need to make the choices that we believe are in their best interest. Tell him why you have made the choice you have and that is your descison. You can have LOTS of fun in preschool and K without going to the school down the road. Go on field trips, take nature walks, do art, go to the library story hour, go to the zoo, museum, art gallery etc and keep any seat work to a minimum. He will be having so much fun he will forget there is a "real" school :)
  12. I was either 13 or 14? Not sure, but it was 8th grade. :banghead:
  13. I did A LOT of stuff in my teen years I am not proud off. :blushing:
  14. TY, I need to look into this more. If she does US based in her 9th grade that leaves us a few years to work through their other programs. I really like IEW and it's the first writing program we have used that we stuck with!
  15. Thanks, Kimm. We are using the Ancient History Book this year and she does well with it so it sounds like this might be a possibility for us. May I ask what do you plan to use after you finish the US based books? Thanks, again.
  16. I have done both, but I usually add uncooked rice to it as I put it together.
