  1. I am overwhelmed by the planning on this trip. All I hear is there is tons of stuff to do and you have to have a plan. Would some kind sould tell me what areas to concentrate on? We are staying at the Port Orleans Hotel which I understand in the resort. Thanks
  2. It seems that the ONLY place that one can find VT is with an optometrist. Why, if it is so effective, does the medical community (on the whole) not offer or endorse this intervention? Not meaning to hijack here... Alexandra
  3. otoh I think that when buying Swedish fish it is important to look for the non-farm raised Swedish Fish. If you can find them (and it is difficult) you should try to buy the ones that come from a school of fish that used a 4 year classical rotation. hth Alexandra
  4. If you want to try RR go for it and just use the ABCD as "plan B" if you (like me) find yourself suffering from RRR (Reading Reflex Rage) which is caused by finding the material in RR too confusing and poorly planned. ABCDarian was just the cure for me (and this was AFTER I had taken the 35 blasted hours of RR also known as Phono-graphix training). Good Luck!
  5. to child by means of saliva. Pretty sure they weren't talking about food that was boiling on the stove. I think folks should use a fresh spoon frankly. I am also uptight about double dipping too. Just plain ol' good manners.
  6. I was involved in a conversation this evening with an individual who stated that that Russia collapsed because of the arms race that occurred during Reagan's presidency. He said that Reagan stressed the Russians economically to the breaking point by forcing them to spend so much on weapons. He went on to say that is why GH Bush inherited such a great economy. (huh? - remember "Its the ecomomy Stupid")I had thought that the collapse was due to internal conflict, Gorbachev's tolerance of decentralization and the state of their economy. So just for the record this is history right? (not politics)
  7. I would second the walk. It would help his mental health so much. I also love the idea of a child reading the paper for him once a week or so. He is lucky to have your nearby!
  8. I am reading about the Mayflower expedition and was wondering what specifically the puritans disagreed with? I am just completely amazed at how brave they were to take this voyage and wondered a little about their ideas and motivation. I have always understood they wanted to worship in their own way etc but what did that really mean in the early 1600's? Thanks
