  1. Thanks! So you should buy the student reading book to use with the workbooks?
  2. Hi, I have been looking at the free workbooks online: http://www.mhschool.com/reading/treasure_workbooks/national.html and was wondering if you need and/or recommend using the Treasures Reading book for the same grade level. I notice the workbooks reference a story but not sure if the reading book is necessary or helpful for the workbooks. Thanks! Andrea
  3. I love all of your ideas!! Thanks for sharing the link! It does look like a great unit as does the Christmas and Easter one. I love how the units cover what other countries do to celebrate!! Have a blessed Thanksgiving!
  4. Hi, has anyone bought this and tried it yet? I would love to hear feedback and thoughts on it. Thanks!
  5. Hi, can anyone compare Bob Jones University English & Grammar with Rod and Staff Language Arts? Thanks so much!
  6. These do look really good! I tried to find reviews online but wasn't able to. They must be pretty new but hopefully there are others here that have tried them and can share. I am super excited to see the next levels that are coming out.
  7. Thanks so much for your help!! I really appreciate it!
  8. Hi, I am wondering what everyone thought of it that tried it. Also, wondering if I need to buy the science kit from Elemental Science so I have the prepared slides they list. Thanks!
  9. I would love to have you share the rules, thanks for offering!!
  10. Hi, I think these workbooks look great. I used the Language art ones this year and my older child enjoyed them. I was thinking of using the 2nd grade Complete Curriculum for my 2nd grade child. I looked at the subjects and it seems to cover everything that we have been learning. I have been using CLE Math and LA. What do other people think that have tried this? Do you think it is enough for Math, and Language Arts & Writing (we will be using AAS for Spelling and are fine for reading)? Thanks for your help!
  11. I would love that too! What a great idea!
  12. Thanks, Erin! I was just wondering if this would be comparable to Fifty States Under God. Love the new curriculums you have written!!
  13. Do you know if this is religious in content at all? I actual would prefer that. Thanks!
  14. Is there a workbook for very beginning diagramming for a 3rd/4th grade student? Thanks!
  15. What are you using for your spine? I was going to suggest Elements too by McHenry.
  16. If so, what were your thoughts on them? Were they up to grade level as far as what they covered? Could you combine multiple age children with them? Thanks so much!
  17. I have checked it out several times at the library. It looks like a great book! It takes difficult concepts and makes them very simple. I would think you could use the experiments easily with a 2nd grade child and just read from some living science books and a science encyclopedia for a solid year.
  18. Wow! Thanks for the great list!! I appreciate everyone's response! I have enjoyed checking these books out :)
  19. Thanks for your help! I was thinking maybe adding in American Girl Felicity. I think the book covers that time period, correct? I think it covers 1565-1887.
  20. Thanks so much for the great list and the bump!! Does this book go into the Revolutionary war at all? Thanks!
  21. Hi, I was wondering if anyone has a schedule of readers or read alouds for extra literature to go along with this book? Thanks!
