okay now it makes sense. yeah i can see how in the begining i put kids before him, sometimes i still struggle and i see the reprocusions

Ive made MANY mistakes and chose many wrong paths in life. whe ni saw the first + sign when i was 21 thigns turned around for me. i wanted to be the best mother i could, now i strive to be the best wife. God has been entering my life faster and faster and now id like to live as a better Christian mother and wife..... do i sound crazy for wishing there was something like this out there?

i think it would be great if the forum was broken up more. maybe k-5 then 5-8.... also since say im doing FIAR is it okay to start a thread and have it continue, like what everyones rowing, what they are doing. i feel more in place here than on the fiar boards...

i just reserached night of the moonjellies. looks PERFECT for the beach idea....we are gonna visit family for 2 weeks and id love to give it a trial run while we are there (if i have the book) and no library carrys it around here! and we leave in 2 weeks :(

At least im not alone i nthis venture. i think i REALLY want to use MFW starting 1st, so ill be saving and selling for that!~

HELLO! Im NEw here! Im MElissa 26 and cant wait to dive into the homeschooling. I have 2 kids : Gabriella 4 Lorenzo 1 (2 in sept) so far for dd we have: HOP K-1 !00ez lessons (we are on 6) Signapore math is commign (old versions 1a 1b 2a 2b fiar is comming....im hoping to get the books in the library and so far thats it. I need to get HWT, and the Bible supl would be nice for fiar :)

oh gosh i havent even thought about glue, paper, ink (my husband hates how much i go throu) im glad ds potty trained himself at 19 months cause ive been able to sell some of the cloth diapers he had! but now its like, yard sales, i try to get 3 dollars out of food money everyweek to save for school.... it would be nice if public schools would reinberss us :)

see, i love the MFW curric. but no way i can afford it. even used. so i took a differnt route by doing HOP, Singaore math US version, 100 ez lessons, fiar, but now i dont have Bible supple....or Handwriting. i think science, history and geography is covered i nthe fiar....

anyone else struggle to purchase what is needed???

okay from what i read in NY its age 6 im still confused. so they dont care what grade your teaching them??? how do they graduate early if it arose? did u have to submit everythign they do, their grades, work? im prepared for home, but not for the years to come when i have to ell them. i guess its good im asking early

i dont techinically report to the school yet right? im VERY new. ive gotten what is needed, we made the decision, and im still confused. when do i let the district know? before she woulg go into K NExxt year? what if she will be in 1st next year from homeschooling.....techinically shed be in K i npublic, do they care?

i know. it was a bad choice, but the days she had fun i was so proud..... ug i feel horrible about it. yeah prom is silly, but i used it as a general thing....
