  1. I just got back from seeing the movie with my 16 year old dd, my bff, and her dd (21). There were a lot of people in my theater for a Sunday afternoon and a lot of singing along. A group of probably 10 girls (I’d say ages 10-12) stood in the very front and danced/screamed to the songs through the whole movie. They barely obstructed the screen and the music was so loud that it didn’t bother me (they were having fun). The only time it was slightly annoying was during the quieter songs, because they literally screamed all the lyrics! But they added energy, which I enjoyed.

My dd sang every single song. She loves TS (this was her second time seeing the movie this weekend). We saw the show live together in Cincinnati and it is one of my favorite mother/daughter memories with her.

  2. Dd and I bought a half gallon of Fair Life milk, put it in the trunk of the car, and then instead of going home we drove to the grandparents house for a visit. About three hours later we arrived home and remembered the milk. Would you drink it? Temp was in the mid-60s.

  3. We recently bought a whirlpool with a bottom drawer freezer. The ice maker is in the freezer (pull drawer, use scoop for ice) and there is a water dispenser inside the refrigerator. I really wanted the ice and water, but kept hearing about that causing repair issues. I figure if one of them breaks and we don’t want to pay to repair, it’s not on the front of the refrigerator so it will go unnoticed.

It is an autoimmune disease, so treated with many of the same drugs as other autoimmune diseases. Interestingly, like other AI diseases it can be triggered by an infection - so it is possible when your son was sick you were infected and your body overreacted and triggered it. But it's impossible to know what the trigger was for sure.

I was diagnosed with sarcoidosis in 2021. My local doctor had trouble diagnosing me so I traveled to the Cleveland Clinic and was quickly diagnosed. I met with another doctor a few months after my diagnosis, who is with the Sarcoidosis Center at the Cleveland Clinic. One of my first questions for him was - is sarcoidosis an autoimmune disease and he told me that sarcoidosis is not considered to be an autoimmune disease. I just looked at the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research website and it supports what my doctor told me. I don’t know how much it matters, but just thought I would share this info here.

I haven’t followed up with my doctor like I should (it is a 4 hour drive to the Cleveland clinic), as I have never had any symptoms. I do think I will call next week and make an appointment though.

Can we still try? If so what website? This is not something I ever do but thought it might be a cool girls thing.

No, you had to sign up to try to get the code last week. Emails were sent out to everyone who signed up yesterday evening. Either you were waitlisted (us) or you received an email that you would get a code in the next day or so. Getting a code doesn’t even guarantee that you can get tickets - it just means that you have the opportunity to try to get tickets.

For the 2024 US shows, there are only 9 shows total. I knew it would be very difficult to get tickets and I wasn’t counting on it. But it was fun to try!

  6. Dd and I tried and both got waitlisted. We were fortunate enough to see the show this summer already (Cincinnati), so I’m not too disappointed. But like @easypeasy said, it is such an amazing show that I would love to see again! I was not a huge fan before, but I am a total Swiftie now!!

Any color is “in” right now! Pink is especially strong bc: Barbie. There are lots of silver glitters that can be added over a color of her choice - it’s always a fun look! Also, silver metallic.

Quality polish doesn't have to be a fortune. Target carries Essie and Orly and they're both great. Orly is cruelty-free, so even better.

Add a topcoat to make it last longer. I don’t use gel polish bc they are harder to remove and I am lazy. 🤪

I agree about any color being “in”. I did want to clarify about the gel polish. Earlier I am the one that recommended gel polish. If you buy the polish in the store and don’t use a light to cure it, it comes right off with nail polish remover. I am talking about something like this polish -

Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Nail Polish

    Thanks!

  8. I agree with looking online! Around here, the teen girls (including my just-turned 16 year old) get their nails done with bright colors using gel polish. My dd is as girly as they come and loves pink. Right now her nails are hot pink with different glitter designs on each nail.

To do them yourself, I would purchase gel polish. You don’t have to use a light for this polish, but it gives a gel look (very glossy).

Hope your girl has a great first day at school!!

How do we know this isn't a company in Hong Kong that bought out a bunch of BB&B product before it was shipped to stores?

I've got my receipt by email. And when I go back to the website and track my order with my email address, it comes up with the order number that matches my receipt although it is listed as "unshipped". I could cancel the order because it hasn't shipped yet. But it seems like I"m going to get something....or maybe it's knock off Stanley cups?

Brads Deals is a real website (it is bradsdeals.com). But here with the Stanley cups, it comes up as bradsdeals-us.com, which isn’t the accurate brads deals website address. That is what made me think it might be a scam.
