I have been looking through CL ads and posted a wanted ad as well. I've seen anywhere from $25 to $300 for a re-homing fee. What IS reasonable to you?
We moved across the country and re-homed our pets. We didn't ask a fee. I know that all of our pets found good homes. I just can't understand how folks think that $300 is reasonable?
Thoughts?
I have been actively looking at CL and Petfinder. I have found that folks at CL are price gouging and not really re-homing their pets for a small fee.
My hubby is afraid of getting a dog that potties in the house again. I understand completely.
I will certainly let ya'll know if we adopt/find a doggie.
I have eaten vegetarian off and on all through my adult life. I ate veggie the first 5 months of this year, but it was really hard to make meals for my family and myself. No one else was vegetarian. I tried eating only veggies again for a month, but I had a craving for meat like I have never had before. I felt better eating vegetarian, but I was also never full. I am eating meat again and I have conflicted feelings about it.
I don't mind having a dog groomed. After living with a GS for a month or so. I have never seen so much hair! My cream colored carpet turned brownish/black. Grooming sounds wonderful!:D
I've got chicken in the freezer, potatoes, canned tomatoes, dried and canned beans, corn, etc. Lots of food - I just don't have any inspiration. What's on your menu this week?
I love hearing about your small doggies. I am short (and fat). LOL It'd be nice to have a dog my size. :001_smile: Most folks don't have a lot of positives to say about small dogs. I knew that you all would be honest with me.
