I've read it here that really its a lot of stuff to print out. I'm trying to decide what to obtain; LOTW or the PK curriculum. I know the majority of the LOTW you can fine on her blog, you just have to download it all individually. The K4 may be more advanced, at least in the beginning of the year, so maybe I should try to do LOTW instead. I just don't know if its worth the money; I've found additional similar alphabet curriculum for free posted on blogs, and she does have the LOTW stuff available as well. I'm talking in circles. I don't even know what I'm asking; I'm starting to second guess my plans for PK. I don't want to go overboard and spend a bunch of money, but I also don't want to make myself crazy looking up ideas for stuff to do. having it all spelled out for me already would be a great help

I've been looking on google and pinterest, and jonesing all day for my WTM board to come back so I could ask if anyone here has already done it and could help me out with ideas. Assuming an "advanced reader" status, not knowing what kind of vocabulary study (if any) has been done, what could you recommend to make up with card stock and a printer?

My son has recently expressed an (almost obsessive) interest in sharks. He's read everything he can get his hands on; looked up as much as he could online; watched as much as he could on netflix, and is still asking a million questions! I can see this really taking off in a good thing.... but I'm not sure how to foster the interest. any ideas?

I think there is a way that you can set your events on FB to where only those invited can see; maybe you can delete the one you made and remake it? then she can't see it? I know that doesn't help now, but I'm pretty sure its not suppose to just advertise to everyone on your fb

I have this! It was free one day and I got it. I have read it, and I actually started to reread it yesterday. I have read so much stuff. I have so many blogs I follow, and I study to get the idea of how to do this. Implementing it is completely overwhelming!

we don't have an aldi. or a costco. or a savealot. we have walmart, our local grocery chain brookshires, and sams club. I don't have a sams membership. we've not had success with making our own laundry detergent. I do make our own toothpaste. we mostly drink coffee tea kombucha and water kefir, sometimes coconut water.

I use bronners and vinegar for nearly all cleaning. we cloth diaper, cloth napkin, and SOME of us even us family cloth. I use mama cloth.... we never buy paper plates or cups...

I like the "pantry shopping idea" and buying whats on sale when its on sale. like, last week chicken packages were buy 1 get 1 for a penny, so we bought like 8 lbs of chicken for the freezer. we're set in chicken lol.

Better yet, can you help me to learn? I need to do better with our $ spent on groceries. Dh was laid off last week, and I need to cut stuff out. We still haven't managed all of our books for homeschooling this year, so we're already struggling. any helpful information would be appreciated. We try to eat "real food" more traditional, WAPF, but honestly? I don't know if that can be maintained.
