  1. I think the Human Body Detective lady also has a nutrition program
  2. Just got an email this morning about their plans for high school. I'd love to hear thoughts
  3. Does anyone have the Great Courses history courses listed chronologically? I want to make sure to get them in order, since I'm using audible credits one at a time. I'm sure it's just a matter of sitting down and doing it, I just thought I'd check if anyone else had already done it before I do ;)
  4. Have you seen the lof finance book? I have no idea if it meets your criteria
  5. I just posted mine on my blog today, it's very long winded and still sort of the outline phase. Also, I'm not sure if we're technically 7th or 8th
  6. well, i got both of them  since Teachers pay teachers had them cheaper than the HSB coop AND there is a code at the top of the page for an ADDITIONAL 10% off.
  7. I like a lot about this. There are a few grey areas that I'm not too sure about the details on; and I probably won't get until I purchase the program, huh? I like that she's a holistic doctor, but honestly, she seems a bit ... vegan or vegetarian? I've looked on the website and on facebook, and I can't really find anything where she states "THis is my nutrition belief" etc. I'm down with the unhealthy truth; it's why I wanted the program in the first place. But I don't want something that's going to say eating any kind of meat product is bad and we should only eat plants and beans.
  8. Has anybody used this? I've had it bookmarked for a while, and I keep going back and forth between this and the Real Food Nutrition one. I found the HBD on Teachers Pay Teachers, along with a Teen Health curriculum, I'm just wondering if anyone has had any experience with these and maybe could tell me a little bit about what's in them? http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Nutrition-101-for-Middle-and-High-School-Students-477047 http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/TEEN-HEALTH-BASICS-101-1077118
  9. and it's even cheaper on teachers pay teachers http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Nutrition-101-for-Middle-and-High-School-Students-477047
  10. has anyone any information about the one on the human body detectives site? http://www.humanbodydetectives.com/middle-high-school-nutrition-101/ It's usually on a homeschool buyers coop
  11. It just says all Lost Tools of Writing products.
  12. Got an email just now; Flash sale on Lost Tools of Writing, 30% off with code LTWFLASH
  13. hijack I'm having a similar issue with my 12DS; can you tell me if you've decided on another grammer program to supplement or completely change to?
  14. on currclick there are 3 total unit studies, all 3 together will equal about a years' worth of physics.
  15. I'm in the same boat; haven't made the decision yet, but this is what I'm leaning towards http://www.intellegounitstudies.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=108
  16. oh man. sadly, I think i already have this, because I got Hazen's book to go with his Joy of Science TTC lecture!
  17. I'd LOVE to know more about this logic thing you've got going on!
  18. Can I just ask about this ... at first, you say weeks 16-32, but in the breakdown, you start with 19 and end at 30?
  19. It's the concepts and connections I'm looking at; I didn't realize there were other books. I've looked at the Miller/Levine site; they have a new one this year, the "Texas edition" I didn't really know what that meant until I got into looking at the teacher manual, and every single chapter has some TEKS study questions. No thanks. I liked the TOC pretty well, though; I havent' gotten a hold of a TOC for the Campbell, except the newest one.... Our library is pretty podunk. lol
  20. No, but I can download the lecture from audible.com as a free credit :)
  21. Thanks. I looked up TTC, TC, TGC, and even the professors name, Nowicki, and didn't get any hits. There still seem to be mixed reviews. I'd love any other video/audio lecture on Biology if there is something besides these particular ones that someone could suggest? (Secular preferred)
  22. Is there a single location to compare/contrast/read reviews on these biology books for HS biology? They seem to be the main ones used by most people, and I'm not sure which to pick. All the samples online are for the newest editions, and honestly none of them are appealing. I was going for holt because it was what was used for oak meadow,,,, I'm just at a loss. If you have any words of wisdom for me, I'd love any input.
