Hi The current Singapore (Edition 2000 I dont think available here) are more colourful and kids friendly. My kids like it, but they never been expose to other programs. Since I'm back hime for now, I'm exploring other programs to supplement. FYI, Singapore schools uses the books with classroom materials. I'm thinking of purchasing RS materials and adapt to Singapore (topical). If you have any questions abt Spore math you can email me :001_smile:

Hi I personally went thru Singapore Primary Math as a child in Singapore. Positive note, I did great in my SATs. Interesting fact: these are the same edition (the non US version) I took during my primary school days in the 80s. We're back in Spore as Dh got a job there. My kids are doing a newer edition year 2000 (1 textbook and 1or2 workbooks). There are several titles/versions. Is pretty cheap less than $30 Singapore dollars a book- big plus more me. There's tons of Assessment books (for extra practice) available either topical or based on local exams (etc mid yr, end of yr). I'm planning to get another math program to do after school which is not similar to Singapore. I dont want himto get bored with the same type of learning. I'm thinking of Right start? Any other recomendations?

Sorry I wasnt clear. My family and I currently located in Singapore. Back home for holidays. So I'm scouring around for HSchooling materials (time running out yikes!). Since baggage is limited (still thinking to freight or not) I'm trying to figure out total amt of "loot". Anyone bought the starter kit level b or A before? Pls share the box dimensions and/or weight. :)

Hi all I think I'm in love with Right Start though Singapore Math is readily available at my place(I live in Spore). Abacus / Kumon mental calculations classes is the current in thing in Spore now. I'm hope two merge both. I'm planning to buy 2nd hand hopefully.Can anyone share the box dimensions and weight of the starter kit eg level B? I'm worried abt shipping :)
