We didn't really like The Landmark History of the American People or The Story of USA very much the first time through. This time I used The Story of the Thirteen Colonies by H.A. Guerber (republished by Nothing New Press) and Abraham Lincoln's World by Genevieve Foster. Jen

Hi, My husband is military and we just got an assignment to Laughlin AFB near Del Rio, Texas. Can you tell me what the area is like, how homeschooling is, and any other info you think would be helpful. We are coming from Montana, so I know the climate will be completely different!!
