My son has finished wheelocks and we are contemplating AP but I was surprised that Lukion jumps right into translating Vergil for the AP exam in year 3. Has anyone done this? Was it difficult to do without another year of translation work? Thanks

However, I called our local cc last week or so and was told funding still applied for this coming semester...are you saying we cannot enroll this August? I have called and written emails to try and stop this. -
Help...my son enjoys math and we want to launch into physics. I would have to use a tutor and really want him to understand the material. I think he will love it if he works hard. so Is Apologia the best? What other texts have people used? Has anyone done the SAT subject test along with working in a particular text? Which is the easiest for self study? Which is best using a tutor ? Thanks so much

My friend had one read at three and one did not read until 10 she says now you cannot tell which started early BUT she said there were some racy comments on cards in the grocery store which her three/four yo was asking her about. She said that sometimes it was better if she could not read certain words. :) However, I am sure you will enjoy this time. Good news

I don't know that it could be a full year but you could talk to the helpful people at Excellence in Writing to see what they suggest. I love all their materials and think they are so good for homeschoolers Good luck -

My son did well and loved that book...thought it was much more helpful than others I had purchased.

I believe that Karen Andreola edited this book but you can find the original which is supposed to be better. We purchased it quite awhile ago and I cannot remember who sold it to us.
