  1. Nice to meet you Martha :) I'm in the minority. Statements of faith don't bother me. *shrug* The things that are in our group's statement are basic things that we believe anyway.
  2. Even more confused. LOL But it was good. So enjoy the 8wks of LOST. That's all we get.
  3. Most of the reviews I read said that they were prone to clogging up plumbing.
  4. Ovusoft Mothering A small birth professionals board
  5. I'm probably not a big help then. I'm not familiar at all with non-Christian groups out there or if there are any religious-based ones that don't have statements of faith. You could probably email T.H.E. and ask.
  6. Here's a list: http://www.tulsahomeeducators.com/html/opengroups.html Not all are listed there I see. There is another, CHEER (Christian group), that is pretty nice. It's a large group but very organized. We were members last year but I returned to FAITH this year. Are you more interested in a "secular" group or are you looking for a religious group?
  7. We've purchased from a website before (it's been several years...don't remember which) and had good success. Another easy-to-grow plant that will attract them is dill.
  8. I've always lurked more than I've posted on the WTM boards.
  9. Thanks for those links Chris! Keep 'em coming! I'm also needing some fresh ideas for our lapbooks.
  10. I do better picking out curriculum if I hear good recommendations about it. If it sounds like something my girls would do well with or enjoy, I'll research it further and possibly buy.
  11. We also use Nature's Plus Animal Parade. No artifical anything. No preservatives. Allergen free. *thumbs up*
  12. Barbara ~ No problem! Hi Linda :) I have a couple of clients right now who lives in Owasso. Nice little town. Do you belong to any homeschool groups in the area? We're in FAITH.
  13. LOL...I'm not necessarily new. I've lived here since '94. I'm just not a fan at all of either school so I don't really pay attention or have it cemented in my head which school is in which town.
  14. So near OKC right? If anyone is interested, Ricky Lake's new documentary, The Business of Being Born will be shown in Tulsa in a few weeks. http://www.circlecinema.com/films.htm It will also be shown in the OKC area but not until April.
  15. OOooo...we're doing that one next too. I'm anxious to see what ideas you get! I'm overwhelmed with this unit because there are SOOO many mammals you could study.
  16. I don't think she's posted to the WTM boards in quite a while.
  17. Come out...come out where ever you are!!! I know I'm not the only OK gal here.
  18. I used to and when I have the money again I will get another subscription. When I'm at the bookstore I'll flip through all the different issues. If there is something that looks appealing, I'll buy it (or find a piece of paper and sit there in the store and copy it..LOL). I do have a few of the yearbooks and several recipes I stole from my MILs magazines. I also love checking out the TOH books at the library! I LOVE the recipes!!!! It's very rare that I make a TOH recipe and it turns out bad.
