This is all excellent information, Jennifer. Thank you! I couldn't agree more about the availability of classes at the cc, just awful! Unfortunately, ds has a bit of a wait before he will be able to move on but its good to know and understand what he will need when he does.
Thanks again!
My 11 year old is taking community college classes atm and he is getting ready to graduate high school so that he can take more classes. Does anyone know if he will need to have SAT scores to move onto a 4 year college later? Or will he just be able to transfer from cc without them?
 I saw those in the store the other day and as I was reaching for them with a smirk and a gleam in my eye, my husband said "come on, you cant really want those?". I pretended I didn't, but I do, ohh how I do. :tongue_smilie:
Ohh gosh, that is hard, I'm so sorry. I don't know of many cases where its the woman who cheats but I read in a psychology book once that women generally do it because they have self esteem issues. (Not excusing it at all, that was just the most common reason).
I hope your dad is able to heal and move on with his life as painlessly as possible. :grouphug:
And I'm glad for a place where I can go as a homeschooler and not feel mocked for my choices. I know she is a long time member and that might somehow earn her the right to say whatever she wants in your eyes but I do hope she was somehow being sarcastic or something.
:)
Congratulations!! :)
My cousin had a baby at 25 weeks, he was about the same weight as your little guy. Of course he is huge now at 10. :) I also only weighed 2lb when I was born (I was full term but not thriving).
DH and I have compared our weights a lot and there have been times where I have weighed more than him or the same as him but we both fluctuate within the healthy ranges.
I have banned scales from my house in the last few months, they are not good for me at all. I can become pretty obsessive about numbers.
DS11 is an actor and has done extra work. He was an extra on Friday Night Lights and a few other things before he went into acting more seriously. If its union, they will not be allowed to keep young kids longer than a few hours. If its non-union (and they are a good production team), they wont expect them to be there too long.
Remember sunscreen if your child will be outside a lot. Bug spray if they are in a brushy area and tend to get bitten. They should have water and food on set. Its a fun thing for kids (and adults) to do to see the inner workings of everything but like a pp said there is always lots of waiting around. DS11 has been a budding film maker for years since his first on set experience. :)
