  1. I agree about looking at masterbooks. We’re reading the Answers Books for Kids right now and enjoying them! They’re not quite picture books but they’ve been a nice addition to our morning time.
  2. This is very helpful. Thank you! I think we’ll go with MP for this reason!
  3. Oh, I really like the idea of talking about manners every morning before we get our day started. Definitely implementing this! Great idea!
  4. Thank you! It’s very helpful to hear from someone who has completed one of the programs! Primer seems like such a sweet and full program but MP Enrichment seems a little easier to implement. I also love the manner and nursery rhyme cards in primer! Did you read Everyday Graces when you did primer?
  5. Has anyone tried Memoria Press Enrichment or Gentle + Classical Primer? I’m trying to decide between the two for my son’s upcoming kindergarten year. We’ve completed G+C Preschool once and working through it a second time. I like it but curious about MP.
  6. We’re in the process of going through G+C Preschool for the second time and love it! I like that I don’t have to think about the poem, catechism, nursery rhyme, etc. that we’ll be learning that week!
  7. It’s really good! I went through it with DS5 when he was 3.5/4 and we both loved it. We’re halfway through MWC K and enjoying that program as well!
  8. My son will be 4 this spring so we’ll be starting pre-k in the fall. Phonics - I have Abeka K4 so we’ll probably use that for phonics unless he hates it like his big brother 🙂 Handwriting - Handwriting Without Tears Pre-K. Taking it slow and mostly using the chalkboard to work on tripod grip. Math - Preschool Math at Home. Love this so much! Tagging along with my kindergartener for science, social studies and enrichment (using either Gentle + Classical Primer or MP Enrichment K)! Would love to hear thoughts on these if you’ve tried them. We’re going through G+C Preschool for the second time but curious about MP Enrichment.
  9. This is what I’m thinking so far. DS4 will also be joining in on science, social studies, and enrichment. Phonics: All About Reading 1 Handwriting: Handwriting Without Tears K Math: Finish Math With Confidence K a couple months into the school year and then start Math With Confidence 1 or Singapore Primary 1 Science: Elemental Science Intro to Science Social Studies: Core Knowledge K Art, Composer Study, Poetry, Literature, Bible: Gentle + Classical Primer or Memoria Press Enrichment. Can’t decide on this one!
  10. Did mystery science already go on sale? It looks like fun!
  11. Oh, this is so incredibly helpful!! Thank you so much!!!!
  12. Thank you SO MUCH for giving everyone access to this and making this program even better!! Did you use the first or second edition? I’m not sure if it makes a difference but I’m about to buy the book and wanted to make sure I get the correct version. Again, THANK YOU!
  13. I’ve seen Spalding suggested multiple times on these threads so I’ll look into that too. Thank you!
  14. Hi! I just stumbled upon thud thread in a search. Did you guys continue with foundations? If so, how did you like it?!
  15. Oh no! I actually bought the older version of the book yesterday with the cards and CD (used) but that’s ok. If we end up loving it, we can get the new version since it’s not very expensive at all. The samples really do look great and easier for the child to read. Thank you so much!
