Good morning - coffee!!!! - tidy living room- done enough - crochet - tidy kitchen - laundry- load in dryer - dishes - read? - start master bedroom.... ok I really need to do this, it looks like a tornado struck in there and there is wayyyy too much stuff in there, besides one of my new year resolutions is to be more active and I can’t get to my treadmill right now- I’ve made the bed, cleaned off little desk and posted to online yard sale sites. Treadmill repositioned so that it can be used (if I move little desk and small bookshelf, which is why I’m trying to sell little desk), reorganized a lot of stuff. Dh can do his own side of the room - plan rest of new year resolutions - get Christmas boxes out of shed- dh got them out for me- done - take down tree and put Christmas stuff back in shed- done - dinner- fish pulled to thaw - baths/showers- I took my shower (need all the energy I can get) - bedtime routine - anything else I get done- cleaned litter box, completely cleaned off big desk (and putting a few things back on it)

How many orthodontist consults are recommended? Dd1 just turned 9 and has spacing issues. She has lost her top 4 teeth but only 2 of them has come in, there just isn’t enough space for her other 2 to come down. We have one consult with her dentist scheduled for March (at $320!!) we like him because he is local should something come up and dd1 is used to him. I would like to get other opinions but not if each consult is going to cost me $300+, especially if I have to drive an hour+ to get there (all other orthodontists are that far away or more).

Equal number of gifts and I think I spent around the same amount on them as well. My two girls are 5 years apart so soon enough it will be more $ equality but right now dd2 (who’s 3) would be rather upset if sissy(dd1, 9 yrs old) didn’t have the same number of gifts (and yes she can count to 25 by herself)

We live in Michigan. We wouldn’t mind paying that much (though would be really really tight budget wise) if the deductable wasn’t so high and it included vision and dental for the girls. But as it is we might pay $1000 total a year in medical/dental and vision costs out of pocket (I’m including that in 2018 we are paying $300 for an ortho consult for oldest DD, 2 cleanings each for dd1 and dd2, a well child visit and a few sick visits per child, vision exams for each child and myself with glasses, and wellness checks for dh and I along with dh’s meds)

ACA wants us to pay $400 a month with a subsidy for the 4 of us, we can’t afford that. That’s also with a $13,000 deductible. We are not getting insurance again this year because of the high costs. It doesn’t cover dental or vision either. We looked into MICHILD (Michigan’s chip program) and had that for a while but the county DHS office keeps losing our paperwork and so the girls got booted off. Good thing our NP has reduced fees for those without insurance and same with our dentist.

We have liberty mutual for the vehicles and truck camper. Liberty Mutual was one of the few insurers that would cover the camper. We pay around $250 a month right now but have the thingys for further discounts. Ours is so high because we live in Michigan
