I would make a quiche. You could also do hot curried fruit if you have canned fruit.

Thanks for posting this. I'm in.

We love it! The best one was when they went frog hunting in the golf course pond. My oldest laughed so hard no sound came out.
-
My kids said, "Who's Jack?"

Twenty minutes is great at that age. My son is eight and he's just getting to 15-20 minutes. I allow quiet activities like clay and coloring to tame the wiggles.
-
I'm with you. I love it when the house is neat and clean. I just wish the rest of my family felt the same way.

Yes, I make up the difference. Depending on the contellation of the party, I may or may not say anything.

My dh went over a speed bump and the back glass of his pickup shattered. It was a big mess.

We currently have a GE which is a piece of junk. It has never worked well. I don't use it anymore. We got it when the 20 something year old Maytag developed an unfixable leak. It worked like a champ.

I guess I have to wait. I logged back in and it says I will get another email when I can "explore Pottermore." Bummer.

When do you get sorted? I have a name and have clicked the link and signed in but dont't see a place to be sorted. Does that happen at some other time? Will I get an email for it? My name is: Riverstone36292.
I'm stuck here too. SkyThorn6585

We don't use a specific reading curriculum. I just choose books to go along with whatever we are studying in history or science.

:iagree: Hair nets are wonderful things.

Thank you!

We have only used Grid Perplexors. I think the main difference is the format, grid vs. list, but I could be wrong.
-
Grid Perplexors are cheaper per puzzle. If he is advanced enough he could go to PuzzlersParadise for free logic puzzles. They are tricky.
-
I use US version because that was what was available when I purchased them.
:iagree: I haven't seen anything that would make me switch for my younger children.

I am debating the same question. We are burned out on R&S. I'm thinking of focusing on writing for 8th and not doing formal grammar.
-
I think it's because their father uses "tooken". Dh takes offense to having his grammar corrected by me. Now my budding grammar snob dd12 is taking on the job.

Thanks for sharing.

Here is my post. We haven't had so much as a prediction of snow this year.

My youngest dd loves her Madeline doll. They come in several sizes.

I thought my dh was the only one who did this.
I was out Christmas shopping and he stayed home with the kids. When I got home the kitchen was clean. I was beyond happy. I kept going on and on about how wonderful he was and how nice it was to come home to no dishes in the sink. He was also thanked privately.;)
The next morning I needed a pot to cook breakfast and couldn't find one. There were no pots or pans in the kitchen. I tracked them down to a large plastic storage bin outside the back door. I was not amused.:glare:
