kfeusse
has anybody here used this as part of their studies. My question is, do the history videos tend to have a certain political slant and do the science ones teach evolution or are they neutral? Did your kids like these? They certainly look interesting. thanks...just looking for some reviews.
Butter
Evolution is taught. They are definitely not neutral on that topic (one of the Biology videos is entitled Evolution: It's a Thing). The Green brothers are liberal. So you may feel there is a slant to them.
marbel
My kids enjoy and get something out of them. Entertaining reinforcement of stuff they've already read, mostly. We've picked up some slight anti-American sentiments in a few; my kids just roll their eyes. (I can't remember exactly what or in what episodes; it's just a vague memory at this point - so not a big deal.)
MamaSprout
We are using these with Biology this year. They are fast paced and engaging, but are a little PG-13. They teach currently accepted science, so evolution is there, and explained well.
kfeusse
hmmmm. well, I probably wouldn't use them for biology...but the more liberal side of the history might be concerning too. thanks.
Pat in MI
The world history seems okay to me. We won't use the American History though. I started watching those and I could really see the liberal slant in them. Blessings, Pat
