taffnus
I'm buying the Dolciani Algebra used by Wilson Hill Academy (c. 2000). Is there a solutions manual for this particular year? I can't seem to find it.
Leav97
Possibly the teacher's edition? Hoping someone chimes in with more information. https://www.amazon.com/Algebra-Structure-Method-Book-Teachers/dp/0395977231/ref=sr_1_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1487379971&sr=1-2&keywords=dolciani+teacher%27s+edition
RootAnn
Some of the editions use the same solutions manual as another year. (There is a Classifieds posting offering Dolciani Alg sets and the seller might be able to tell you what the ISBN is for that solution manual if the year is close to your edition.) taffnus
Yes, hers it 1986. Are you thinking I'd just get the closest year I can find?
RootAnn
Yes, but it would be best to be within 2-4 years of yours. They aren't interchangeable past too many years. I saw a TE on Amazon, but it is for the California edition: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/039597724X/ref=pd_aw_sim_14_of_30?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=WH8PVTXCHS6W1Q6BD0RW I don't know how close that is to yours but the publication date is close. taffnus
Yes, I saw that one too. That is the TE for the book I'm getting. I don't know what "California" edition means. My understanding is that the answers are in the TE but not the fully-worked solutions. I may not need a Solutions Guide but it seems that one should be available.
yvonne
Here's the isbn for the Solution Key we use with the Dolciani Alg 1 text used at WHA this year: 978-0395677643 The solution key has all the answers worked out. Looks like Bookfinder.com has a number of copies available. Lowest price I see is about $16. Edited February 18, 2017 by yvonne
MamaSprout
Mine (on the classifieds) is not the same as WHA's. It is one edition older. Many of the problems are exactly the same (and there are fewer photos), but it isn't close enough to use interchangeably with their edition. HTH ETA- The TE is just answers, no solutions. I do think the TE is very helpful if you aren't using an online class. Edited February 18, 2017 by elladarcy
taffnus
Thank you all! I think I'll wait til the TE arrives to decide if I even need the Solutions Key. If I do, I'll look for one closest to 2000. Mine (on the classifieds) is not the same as WHA's. It is one edition older.
