IfIOnly
There's about 1.5 inches so far. My little girl in her fleece pajamas, coat, snow boots, and warm hat has been in and out of the house all morning, and the boys are itching to be done with school so they can go play in it too. :) Edited November 24, 2015 by LavenderGirl

IfIOnly
We do too! It would be fun to go sledding on Thanksgiving if it stays or we get more. There are some fun, free snow parks around here!
IfIOnly
We're at four inches. We had just finished up a backgammon game when the power came on after being out an hour. My children had also started a fire in our backyard pit and boiled water over it for a warm drink during that time and all smell like campfire smoke now. :)
milovany
Do you live where I live?! :D We did, too. Happy day. And it didn't melt away throughout the day! (That's probably for tomorrow.) Tradition dictates that there be homemade hot chocolate tonight.

Momling
Us too - it's not sticking at our elevation (2000ft), but it is predicted to accumulate overnight when temperatures drop. I'm glad we're not traveling!

I'm glad we're not traveling! Yes,we're not traveling either, thankfully. Snow tires and chains and driving slow is what we've done in the past though! We're about 1500 feet higher in elevation. We've got about a foot now. :thumbup1:
redsquirrel
Lol, I had a VERY different reaction when we had ours. I decided not to post it here b/c I was pretty sure my language would get me into trouble

I decided not to post it here b/c I was pretty sure my language would get me into trouble We don't have much commuting going on right now (we've lived an hour from town before) or a farm with all kinds of outdoor winter chores anymore, and my enthusiasm reflects the lack thereof. Ha! ETA: It is supposed to get down to 8 degrees tomorrow night though. Brrr! Edited November 25, 2015 by LavenderGirl
