Impish
My kids have to earn chips in order to get electronics time. One of the ways to earn chips is by doing chores. Tazzie decided he wanted to do a chore, so I set him up wiping down the kitchen cupboards. So, he's busily wiping them down and announced,"Its like a video game! The dirt is the bad guys, and I'm getting them all!" and proceeded to make noises and yell, "Take that! and that!" each time he wiped a cupboard!
mamapjama
Have you seen www.handipoints.com ? You can create a chore chart for lots of different chores and activities and they can mark of the activities they do. We just use the free section and there is lots to do. I created our own rewards - so many points for Family Movie night etc. My 7 year old loves it.

Impish
No, I haven't used chore charts, but thanks for the link! My kids have to earn chips for stuff like tv, xbox, puter time on a daily basis, because they were getting addicted to electronics. I'll definitely take a look at the link though, thanks!
