Jumping In Puddles
I made Hot Cross Buns. They were fantastic!
MomofSeven
she's right - the secret to good sushi is the rice. The first batch was awesome because the rice was a perfect consistency. The second batch was made from rice which I didn't prerinse and it didn't stick together as well. Still, it tasted awesome and made a delicious Easter dinner. We spent the dinner conversation trying to come up with the most creative ways to tie Easter and sushi together.
Denise in Florida
We decided on grilled steaks for Easter dinner. My youngest dd is mostly vegetarian, but will eat some poultry, and just planned to eat the side dishes. So I asked if she would like anything special. She asked for turkey bacon. :001_huh: To make it festive (?) I wove 5 strips vertically and 5 strips horizontally into a little mat and then baked in the oven at 400 until crispy. She loved it. Wendi
I decided to make pork tenderloin for the first time. It was yummy! I coated it with a mixture of bread crumbs, herbes de provence, and olive oil, then baked it. It turned out really tasty; all three of us loved it! Night Elf
Not for easter, but last night I made a chicken stir fry dish that my family loved. I just put some chicken chunks in a pan with teriyaki sauce, honey, and pepper. I served it over plain white rice as they hated my previous attempt at making fried rice.
