SquirrellyMama
We saw Spiderwick Chronicles at the library today. The movie was pretty good but we had a scary experience. My 7 yr old dd was scared by the movie and at one point turned around and said "Mom, I don't feel well". I got up with her and while walking toward the door she collapsed. She was able to stand up after a minute and we started toward the door again. After walking 10 more feet she collapsed again this time hitting her head on the floor. She was rocking back and forth and when she stopped rocking she just laid there with her eyes closed. They were open until then. I'm not sure she actually lost consciousness but her face and lips were very pale. She's on medication for petit mal seizures so I'm not sure if she got so scared it triggered a seizure or if she got warm, was afraid, not enough fluid and passed out. SquirrellyMama
She was feeling better before the movie was over. It was the strangest thing. No more scary movies for her. I even read the review which didn't sound like it would bother her too much. I left my 3 yr old with a friend and took her older kids with us. It was an intense movie at times.
