Teaching Textbooks Elementary Grades Question

We used the workbook for reference. It's easier to review before a test with the book because one can look at the previous sections to see what was covered. Since the cost is only $20 more when purchased with the CDs, I think it's worth it. If you don't use it, you can resell it later for what you paid - bought separately they cost much more. Even if you use it instead of the CDs, which I know some people prefer to do to save time, you wouldn't have to let your dc write in it.

My oldest is using TT5 now and I bought just the CD's. It hasn't been a problem at all. If he needs to work out a problem he has a pad of graph paper and a small white board next to the computer for him to use. I also recently bought TT6 and TT7 used, without workbooks and don't plan on buying them.
