lynn
I want to do something special for her. She is taking 6 classes working on her teaching degree. She is not the average college student she's oldler, married, has her own home etc. so she does not need ramen noodles or the common things you would send.. Any ideas on what I can do for her. Virginia in Tx
How about bubble bath, a pillow for the bath tub, a gift card for dinner, along with a note to send the kids and hubby out for dinner and relax in hot bubble bath for an hour. Blueridge
Once I sent my hard-working sister a gift basket from a tea company that had a variety of tea flavors, a beautiful mug, cookies and biscuits, candies, etc. She loved it. Rosie_0801
Can you pay one of her kids to do her photocopying for her? That always took up so much of my time. Rosie
The Governess
A Starbucks gift card and travel mug? Some nice pens and a cute pen/pencil bag that she can take with her to school? A nice lapdesk that she can use for studying on the couch? Some cool bookmarks? A planner? A couple dvds and a box of microwave popcorn for when she needs a night off of studying? Some eye cream/refrigerated eye mask to get rid of those been-up-all-night-studying under-eye bags? How fun for her to get a package! Six classes is quite a load. Tutor
A bottle of wine, a gift certificate for supper (or dessert) out, some nice body lotion (maybe massage oil), a bottle of Tylenol, and some ear plugs. :001_smile:
