kbpaulie
The place we though recycled styrofoam, we found out doesn't. Do any of your states, cities, local centers accept styrofoam? We live in OH and regularly travel to IL and IN. But was just curious. Thanks- KB
BeachGirl
My local recycling center in Northern California does though they don't do the packing peanuts. We just bring them any styrofoam in a plastic bag and tip it into the bin. The center is close to my apartment and we regularly bring them bags of paper, cans/bottles, cardboard and styrofoam. They also recycle green waste from gardens.
Suzanne in ABQ
I just take them to my local pack-n-ship place. They're happy to not have to buy them.
Renthead Mommy
Okinawa actually recycles styrofoam (packing peanuts, to go containers, plates/ cups) which was surprising since so few places do. But even more surprising is that they can't recycle cereal box type cardboard. Moving box cardboard they do, but things like cereal and cake mix type boxes, with the waxy/shiny print they can't do. readwithem
I put styrofoam in my recycling bin - not sure what they do with it, but they take it. :)
Arch at Home
The Kansas City Metropolitan area is taking curbside #6 plastic which is styrofoam. We can recycle packing peanuts at our recycling centers.
