This year we've only been swimming a little over a week and THREE of my kids are suffering, two in both ears. We have drops but I am looking for prevention. Katy Posted June 4, 2023 Share Posted June 4, 2023 (edited) Put a few drops of rubbing alcohol in each ear when they’re done swimming. The alcohol increases the viscosity of the water and dries out the ears. Eta: if they turn their head onto a towel the water will mostly come out with the alcohol.
