Veena
Hi everyone! I'm looking for recommendations for Conceptual Physics online course. We have used Conceptual academy and book in the past and could cover 4 chapters after which it was on and off. We have learnt that a teacher would make a big difference in his learning. He loved the book and understands it well however, needed motivation to keep the pace. Thanks, Veena
maize
Jetta at Clover Creek physics teaches a class that many here have used; I don't know if she has spaces available for this year: https://clovercreekscience.com/
Miss Tick
It is my understanding that although Jetta's class uses Hewitt's Conceptual Physics text, the class is not Conceptual. She supplements with plenty of math-based problems. Not sure if you are looking for a book that uses the text, or a class that is truly conceptual in nature. EKS
Not conceptual, but Derek Owens's physics course is good and regular high school level.
CAtoVA
My daughter is signed up for Jetta's class next year; I think her live class sections are full already but there may be space for the recorded sessions. There is a fair amount of math (Algebra 1) involved. Edited July 27, 2022 by CAtoVA
