Gamom3
a litte down from the curve of my armpit, going to my b00k there is a VERY VERY sore spot and it is hard. When I sleep at night it becomes extremely sore, but during the day it doesn't bother me as much...have not clue why. I don't go to see the GYN until January. I do have cysts, but normally all of my b00k hurts not just a certain area. any ideas??
JFSinIL
Tell the doc. you need to be seen NOW and describe the location/pain on the phone if need be to get attention. Just to be on the safe side.
Jean too
I think you should have it checked out before your Jan. appointment. Cysts aren't usually hard, are they? I have fibrocystic breasts and can not feel the cysts, just the pain and achiness they cause. It could be an inflamed lymphnode.
klmama
You will want to get it checked out right away. If your doctor has Saturday morning hours, call now. If not, call first thing Monday morning. It may only be an inflammed lymph node, but it could be more serious.
Momof3Maidens
After giving birth to my last daughter, I had the same thing come up and it was a clogged milk duct. Very sore for several days but it went away. Any possibilities of that?
Mom2legomaniacs
Totally agreeing with the others. It could be an inflamed lymph node. I get those often in armpit area and in my neck. It could be a sign that you have an infection somewhere in your body that needs addressing. Or it could be something more. Either way, it should be checked out asap. Peace of mind is worth its weight in gold.
lovemywhirlygirls
I get swollen sore spots under my arm down around where my bra goes under my arm. I've went in to check them out and they told me it was swollen lymph nodes. They also told me, and I believe I also read, that *usually* a cancerous lump would not be painful. So, I like to think that my body is just doing a really good job of fighting whatever infection is trying to hack into my system. :) I also swear that sometimes when I'm really stressed, those nodes ache. It is a bit disconcerting.....which is why I went in. HTH.
