fraidycat
This past year, DH hunted for, signed up for all kinds of "in stock" notifications, and patiently waited for the lastest and "greatest" PS5 to become available, after notifying me a year in advance to put it in the budget because he was getting one. All good. He eventually tracked one down for retail price and got it several months ago in late summer or early fall. Fast forward to about 3 weeks ago when he found a PS2 game in a thrift shop for $2, but ended up leaving it there, then continued to talk about it quite a few times. So, when I parked next door to the thrift shop last Wednesday when I went for a massage, I picked up the game for him. I think he has spent more time playing that old PS2 game on the backwards compatible PS3, that sounds like it is getting ready to blast into space because the fan is soooo loud, in the past week than he spent on the PS5 in several months. 😂😁😂 He's having fun, but I find it so weird and funny. 😂🤷🏻♀️😁 1
stephanier.1765
It probably is nostalgia. My boys in their 20's and lower 30's do the same thing.
